What are essential oils?

Essential oils are volatile aromatic compounds that are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They are the immune system of the plants and protect them against external environmental threats such as viruses, bacterias, germs and diseases that may attack their cells.
